Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and highly organized Human Resources Professional with at least three years of progressive, hands-on HR experience. This position will support and collaborate closely with the current Human Resources and Recruitment team in delivering effective HR services throughout the employee lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience using iSolved for HRIS and payroll functions, along with a solid understanding of the employment practices and workforce requirements associated with federal government contracting.

The successful candidate will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, payroll coordination, compliance, and employee separation. This individual must be able to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively and independently, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism and discretion.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of progressive human resources experience
  • Hands-on experience using iSolved for HRIS administration
  • Experience supporting multiple areas of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and payroll
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR compliance requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of an established HR and Recruitment team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems
  • Experience supporting employees in a federal government contracting environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • HR certification, such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or an equivalent credential
  • Familiarity with the workforce practices, compliance obligations, and operational requirements associated with government contracts

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and collaborate with the current HR and Recruitment team to meet organizational and workforce needs
  • Coordinate recruitment and candidate-selection activities
  • Manage employee onboarding, orientation, and separation processes
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS data accurately and confidentially
  • Administer and support iSolved HRIS and payroll processes
  • Coordinate payroll activities and respond to employee payroll-related questions
  • Support compensation and benefits administration
  • Assist with performance management and employee evaluation processes
  • Provide guidance and support regarding employee relations and workplace concerns
  • Help resolve employee conflicts and escalate sensitive matters as appropriate
  • Support employee training, professional development, and engagement initiatives
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and administration of HR policies and procedures
  • Monitor compliance with applicable employment laws, labor regulations, contractual requirements, and company policies
  • Prepare HR reports and analyze workforce data to support management decisions
  • Support talent-management, retention, succession-planning, and workforce-planning initiatives
  • Assist with organizational development and change-management activities
  • Promote diversity, inclusion, and a respectful workplace
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, managers, and company leadership
  • Provide HR support throughout the employee lifecycle, from recruitment through separation

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, resourceful, and dependable HR professional who will complement and strengthen the current HR and Recruitment team. This individual must be comfortable working independently when necessary while maintaining close coordination with team members, leadership, and employees.

Experience working with a federal contractor workforce is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will understand the importance of accuracy, confidentiality, responsiveness, teamwork, and the consistent application of employment laws and company policies.
