HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (EMPLOYEE BENEFITS)

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Benefits and Entitlements trainer and quality control compliance specialist. Responsibilities cover the entire spectrum of benefits and entitlements with the Federal Government. Services are provided worldwide to 160,000 civilian employees. Delivery of these services far-reaching impact for the Air Force and DoD.

Plans, develops, executes and evaluates a comprehensive orientation and training program for the front-line benefits counseling and processing staff. Provides continuing education and refresher training for benefits counselors to ensure they stay up to date on any legislative changes regarding benefits policies and processes. Conducts the quality compliance of counselors-in-training (CITs) and seasoned counselors to ensure compliance. Participates in special projects and studies affecting the benefits program.
