This position is located within the Department of Homeland Security (OHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Human Capital (OHC), Human Resources Operations Center (HROC), Chief Front Office. The incumbent of this position serves as a Senior Level Human Resources Specialist (HR Development) in Recruitment and Placement and will perform the following duties: Provide senior level guidance and develop training for HROC employees on applying Federal HR laws and regulations. Manage quality assurance activities for HROC and develop training on areas needed. Provide expertise and technical guidance to all levels of management on unique initiatives and programs of the HROC. Serve as a liaison with policy divisions in ICE, DHS, and OPM on evaluative related activity. Develop training plans and trains HROC employees in methods and techniques of team building and working in teams to accomplish tasks or projects and provide or arrange for specific administrative or technical training necessary for accomplishment of individual and team tasks. Review and provide management with up-to-date operating procedures and policies for existing, new, or emerging programs.
