HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (MILITARY)

The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as Chief, Customer Support in administering allaspectsof the section. This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. Additionally, trains Reservists in theaccomplishment of tasks set forth herein. Duties Plans, directs, and controls all aspects of the Customer Support programs for both Active Guard Reserve (AGR) and unit reservists Administers actions in Automated Reserve Orders Writing System-Reserves (AROWS-R).Monitors and takes appropriate action to clear military personnel hard-holds. As required, creates orders and modifications for section personnel Serves as advisor to commanders on Human Resources (military) programs Provides Human Resources management (military) advisory services to commanders andstaff onall Customer Support programs Ensures accuracy of Personnel Data System (PDS) and performs functional review of datareliability
