The primary purpose of this position is to serve as system analyst for the Enlisted Promotion and Air Force Military Testing Branch's Weighted Airman Promotion System (WAPS).

Serves as system analyst/administrator with responsibility for management and maintenance of the promotion data systems Directs all automated promotion file initialization and maintenance actions throughout the life cycle of each promotion cycle Designs and implements complex ad-hoc and recurring information retrievals via Oracle, SAS, Structured Query Language (SQL), and other available AFPC software Provides data systems support to the USAF Selection Board Secretariat, Officer Promotions and Special Selection Board (SSB) Shop
