The selectee will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment and Placement) in the Office of Human Resources, APT Talent Management Division. Typical work assignments include: Performing operational human resources work in all facets of recruitment/placement as it relates to various hiring authorities and flexibilities, qualification requirements, pay setting, employment and placement requirements; developing recruitment strategies or other recruitment activities to identify and target mission critical administrative, professional, and technical positions Providing guidance on recruitment and placement activities in accordance with Office of Personnel Management, agency or internal policy and standard operation procedures.; Conducting strategic planning meetings with internal stakeholders to developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies and providing applicable recommendations in mitigating issues impacting recruitment and placement. Developing appropriate documents to communicate operational guidance in accordance with published regulations, guidance, policies and agency directives.
