Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment & Placement)

About the Position: This is a Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment & Placement) position located within the Soldier Strategy & Development Human Resources Directorate under the T2COM-CAC Branch.

As a Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment and Placement), you will perform the following duties which is not an all-inclusive list:

Exercise and utilize an advanced level of knowledge and skill in apply the full range of HR methods, principles, practices, and methodologies sufficient to advise and or resolve the full range of operations.

Develop and deliver briefings, project papers, status/staff reports, and correspondence to managers to foster understanding/acceptance of CHRSC findings and recommendations.

Advise management on merit system principles and prohibited personnel practices to ensure recruitment actions adhere to established rules and regulations.

Develop long and short-range staffing plans to meet forecasted mission requirements.

Research the qualifications and skills needed to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of various positions and conduct job analyses with subject matter experts.

Advise management on recruitment strategies, sources, special programs, recruitment, relocation, and retention incentive programs.

Draft the formal responses to applicant inquiries, complaints, appeals, audit reports, inspections, or survey of findings for managements signature.

Advise management on restructuring of organizations in support of downsizing efforts.
