Summary

Advises on human-rights due-diligence frameworks for financial institutions, applying ESG, OECD, and UN Guiding Principles expertise in conflict zones.

This role is focused on the development of a comprehensive Human Rights Due Diligence framework, requiring specialized expertise in human rights law and associated commercial applications, particularly in challenging conflict areas.

Main responsibilities:

  • Support and deliver expertise on the development of the Human Rights Due Diligence framework.

Key requirements:

  • Enhanced Human Rights Due Diligence - policy and practitioner level from conflict areas

  • Human Rights Lawyer

  • Knowledge of / experience with ESG and Sustainability practices

  • Experience in commercial and risk applications for financial institutions

  • Expertise in OECD guidelines

  • UNGP expert status

  • Experience from financial institutions or banks (preferred).

Nice-to-have

  • Understanding of Indigenous peoples' rights

  • Knowledge of Human Rights governance frameworks.
