Summary
Oversee safety and security for humanitarian staff and assets in Gambella, Ethiopia: assess threats, update plans, manage movements, train personnel, and coordinate with NGOs and government.
Role: Ensure safety/security of IRC personnel/assets – monitor threats, update security plans, manage movements, train staff, coordinate with NGOs/govt, report incidents, and build community acceptance.
Requirements:
🎓 Degree in Social Sciences, Peace/Security, or related
📅 2 yrs (BA) / 1 yr (MA) / 5 yrs (diploma) exp
🗣 English, Amharic + local language advantageous
💻 MS Office proficiency & report writing
