Main Purpose of the job
Welocalize is currently looking for linguists to join our pool of trusted medical partners for our Welocalize Life Science business unit for the en_US to hu_HU language pair.
The client which we are recruiting for is a leading medical device company. We need a MTPE linguist to assess the language quality on an ongoing basis.
Main Duties
- Translate Life Science content from English into Hungarian with original meaning conveyed in a manner that is readable and understandable to target audience.
- Minimum three years' experience translating and reviewing content in the specified subject matter areas or verticals:
- Native fluency in Hungarian

- Capacity per week: 2000 to 5000words / weekly
- Start date: ASAP
Requirements
- Native speaker of target language and fluent in English
- Degree in linguistics, medical and/or equivalent subject
- Minimum 3 years experience in translation and/or editing of medical documents – clinical patient and investigator-facing material in the life sciences field
- Good communication skill, happy to jump on the call with customer
- Proficient use of CAT tools (XTM, Trados)
