This company have been providing remedials and overhaul power connection services UK wide. They are currently looking to expand and looking to grow their team to support the continuous growth of the business.
In this role you will pay a key part in the overhaul and repairs of HV equipment, including switchgear, transformers, structural steelwork, and control panels. The role involves hands-on electrical repairs such as cable installation and terminations, earthing and bonding, and supporting testing and re-commissioning activities.
This role would suit an HV Engineer or similar looking for a varied role within a well-established substation company who offer personal development, training and progression within a growing, expanding business.
The Role
- Remedials of high voltage electrical systems, equipment and components including transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, cables and related equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians and other team members to execute projects, troubleshoot issues and ensure the efficient operation of high voltage electrical systems
The Person:
- Background as a HV Engineer or similar
- Experience in power stations, solar or similar
- UK driving license
