HVAC Design Engineer
A HVAC Design Engineer is responsible for designing and developing HVAC systems for buildings and other structures to provide comfortable working and living environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop HVAC systems based on project requirements and specifications
- Conduct load calculations to determine heating and cooling requirements for buildings and other structures
- Prepare HVAC system layout and design drawings using computer-aided design software
- Perform equipment selection and size ductwork and piping systems
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure project success
- Oversee HVAC system installation and commissioning to ensure proper functioning
- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues
- Prepare project reports and documentation
