HVAC Estimation Engineer

Work location Hyderabad

· Study HVAC drawings and specifications.

· Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

· Estimate costs for equipment, ducting, piping, insulation, accessories, and installation.

· Obtain and evaluate vendor quotations.

· Conduct rate analysis and material/labor costing.

· Assist with techno-commercial proposals and tenders.

· Coordinate with sales, procurement, design, and project teams.

· Identify scope gaps and ensure timely, accurate competitive estimates.

· Maintain records, databases, and vendor quotations.

· Support value engineering and revise estimates as project requirements change.

Required Qualifications and Skills

· Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in HVAC estimation.

· Knowledge of ducting, chilled water piping, VRF/VRV systems, ventilation, and air-conditioning equipment.

· Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, BOQs, and specifications.

· Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.

· Experience with AutoCAD and HVAC estimation software is an advantage.

· Strong analytical, numerical, communication, and coordination skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments effectively.

Preferred Skills

· Experience in HVAC tendering and commercial estimation.

· Knowledge of HVAC materials, equipment specifications, and market pricing.

· Understanding of quantity surveying, rate analysis, and cost control.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
