Position Summary
We’re looking for a dependable HVAC Install Helper to join our installation team. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced installers to assist with residential HVAC system installations while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the trade. Previous HVAC, construction, or mechanical experience is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
What You’ll Do
- Assist lead installers with residential HVAC system installations
- Help with the installation and replacement of air conditioning and heating equipment
- Load and unload equipment, tools, and materials
- Retrieve parts and materials needed for installation
- Assist with ductwork, refrigerant lines, electrical connections, and other installation tasks as directed
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Use tools and equipment safely and properly
- Follow company safety procedures and installation standards
- Work closely with the lead installer to keep projects on schedule
- Provide professional and respectful service while working in customers’ homes
What We’re Looking For
- HVAC, construction, mechanical, or general labor experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in the HVAC trade
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
- Professional attitude and good communication skills
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, outdoors, and other residential job-site conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Commitment to providing a positive customer experience
