Air Handlers OBX (AHOBX) is a well-established, full-service heating and cooling company serving communities across the Outer Banks. We’re hiring a full-time, year-round HVAC Installer to join our growing team.

If you’re reliable, driven, and take real pride in your work, we’d love to meet you. You’ll play a key role in delivering top-quality HVAC installations and service, and in making sure homeowners and vacation rental guests across the Outer Banks have a great experience with us.

What You’ll Bring

• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (MVR), with at least three years of driving experience
• Comfort using a smartphone, attention to detail and solid organizational skills
• The ability to pass a background check

The Work

This is a hands-on, fast-paced, physically demanding HVAC Installer job. You’ll need to be able to:

• Lift 50-100 pounds on a regular basis.
• Stand, bend, stoop, kneel, balance, reach, and climb stairs throughout the day.
• Work in indoor and outdoor conditions, including extreme heat, extreme cold.
• Drive a company vehicle to job sites and project locations around the Outer Banks during business hours.
• Work is Monday through Friday, with a rotating after-hours on-call schedule. On-call time is paid extra.
