The HVAC Runner/Driver ensures field technicians have the parts and tools needed to complete jobs efficiently. This role involves driving a company vehicle, managing inventory, and assisting in the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver parts: Transport HVAC equipment, tools, and supplies to active job sites.
- Drive safely: Operate company delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic laws.
- Load vehicles: Safely load and secure heavy HVAC units, ductwork, and equipment.
- Pick up orders: Retrieve parts from local HVAC supply houses and vendors.
- Communicate status: Provide real-time arrival updates to dispatchers and field technicians.
