HVAC Solution Designer (with a focus on liquid cooling)
Summary
Designs and optimizes liquid cooling thermal management systems for high-density computing cabinets in Indonesia’s regional data center, focusing on heat dissipation planning, equipment selection, and energy efficiency. Works with contractors and suppliers for on-site implementation and technical supervision.
Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for the end-to-end scheme design, technical optimization, and implementation follow-up of the liquid cooling thermal management system for the Indonesia regional data center project, with a focus on core tasks such as liquid cooling heat dissipation planning for high-density computing cabinets, selection of specialized liquid-cooling equipment, and system energy consumption optimization.
• Proficient in next-generation data center liquid cooling architectures, including CDU+ secondary piping, cold plate liquid cooling, immersion liquid cooling, loop piping systems, and liquid-cooled units paired with dry coolers. Able to independently perform load calculations for liquid cooling systems, conduct feasibility studies, select appropriate technologies, and deliver comprehensive system solutions.
• Responsible for the schematic design and drawing review of liquid-cooling supporting water systems and circulation pipeline systems, precisely planning the routing of liquid-cooling pipelines, layout of valve components, and arrangement of heat exchange equipment to avoid risks such as pipeline losses, condensation, and leaks, thereby ensuring the stable operation of the liquid-cooling system.
• Coordinate with local Indonesian construction contractors and liquid-cooling equipment suppliers to conduct specialized technical briefings on liquid-cooling construction, provide on-site construction supervision, resolve various technical challenges encountered during the installation and commissioning of high-density liquid-cooling thermal management systems, and facilitate project implementation.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant major such as Building Environment and Energy Application Engineering, Refrigeration and Cryogenic Engineering, HVAC, etc.; 3–5 years of experience in HVAC design; preference given to candidates with experience in liquid-cooling system design.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the design of large-scale AIDC and liquid-cooling projects for intelligent computing centers, or experience in overseas data center projects.
• Proficient in various data center liquid cooling technologies and their associated processes, capable of independently completing liquid cooling CAD design, detailed drawing development, system optimization, and scheme validation.
• Familiar with the PUE optimization logic of liquid cooling systems, capable of independently performing liquid-cooling thermal load calculations, hydraulic verification of circulation pipelines, and selection and parameter matching of core liquid-cooling equipment.
• Possesses strong project coordination and specialized communication skills, enabling precise alignment of resources from all parties and efficient advancement of the liquid-cooled HVAC solution—from implementation and construction to acceptance testing.
Salary negotiable based on qualifications and interview.
