HVAC Supervisor Chilled Water Systems

You will supervise facilities technicians who inspect, test, maintain, and repair campus mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed-air, and related systems. You will schedule work, deliver site-improvement projects, oversee vendors and budgets, enforce safety procedures, maintain trade records, and coach technicians to improve performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead technicians performing inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of campus systems
• Direct plumbing, compressed-air, electrical, and HVAC facility technicians
• Schedule daily work and prioritize assignments
• Develop and execute site-improvement projects
• Observe contractor work and enforce safety procedures
• Maintain required trade records
• Understand and support chilled-water systems, boilers, VFDs, pumps, PLCs, condensers, split systems, air compressors, and dust collectors
• Communicate daily activities, projects, morale, and concerns to the manager
• Manage vendor and contractor finances and maintain accounts
• Coach technicians to improve performance and effectiveness

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 3+ years of facilities management experience
