Job description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated HVAC technician to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the hotel’s HVAC systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while maintaining guest comfort and supporting the smooth operation of hotel facilities.

• Maintain, repair, and adjust air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, split and window air conditioning units, cold rooms, coolers, ice machines, extract fans, and other HVAC-related equipment.
• Assist chiller contractors with scheduled maintenance and brief them on the condition of the equipment.
• Ensure sufficient stock of spare parts for air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, and thoroughly check purchased materials for quality.
• Execute energy-saving measures and help the department reduce energy costs.
• Ensure daily chiller, cold room, and temperature readings are taken and that all set parameters are maintained.
• Recommend improvements to the current system to optimize its operating efficiency and economy.
• Keep the plant room, workshop, and related areas clean and tidy.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar position is preferred.
• Proven hospitality experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with all relevant company documentation, especially the operational standards manual for your area of responsibility.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and on-call when required.
