Lincoln Tech in East Windsor, CT is looking for an experienced HVAC professional to join our team. No education background required. Just real-world expertise, a willingness to share it, and the kind of patience you've already developed working with customers and apprentices over the years.
Key Responsibilities for HVAC Instructors
- Teach and provide hands-on training in HVAC Technology in our fully equipped facility
- Facilitate and effectively deliver Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum using our Blended Learning Model
- Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, and accountability through advising and mentoring
- Evaluate and communicate progress with students fairly and consistently
- Teach students about the importance of safety and compliance
- Maintain a professional, visitor-ready classroom environment
- Complete Lincoln Instructor Foundational Training (LIFT) program
- Prepare students for a successful career in the field of HVAC Technology
Key Requirements for an HVAC Instructor:
- 3+ years of HVAC experience in the field
- S1 or S2 CT license
- The ability to explain what you know to someone who doesn't know it yet
- A genuine interest in seeing other people succeed
- 3+ years of HVAC Technician experience
- EPA 608 certification (required within first 3 months)
- OSHA 30 certification (required within first 3 months)
- Universal EPA 608 Refrigerant Recovery License
- High school diploma/GED
