HVAC Technician - Journeymen

Adjust system controls to manufacturer-recommended settings to ensure proper system balance using appropriate hand tools.

Perform routine maintenance and determine required maintenance procedures.

Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Discuss heating and cooling system malfunctions with customers to diagnose problems and determine appropriate solutions.

Generate work orders by identifying deficiencies requiring corrective action.

Inspect and test HVAC systems to verify compliance with plans, specifications, and operating standards.

Obtain and maintain all required licenses and certifications.

Reassemble and test equipment following repairs to ensure proper operation.

Perform preventive maintenance, including cleaning, power washing, vacuuming equipment, lubricating moving parts, and replacing filters.

Document and report equipment faults, deficiencies, unusual occurrences, labor hours, and materials used on work orders.

Repair or replace defective equipment, components, controls, or wiring.

Follow all company procedures, protocols, and industry best practices.

Collaborate with Service Managers and fellow technicians while sharing knowledge and information across the organization.

Build and maintain positive customer relationships by communicating professionally and understanding customer needs.
