HVAC/Technician

Title: Maintenance Worker: HVAC
Qualifications: 1. Certification in Heating, Air and Refrigeration
2. Experience in repair of Heating, Air and Refrigeration
3. Such other qualification as the Board deem acceptable and appropriate
Supervisor: Director – Maintenance

Job Duties:

• Diagnose and correct problems associated with the District's HVAC/R system
• Estimate and schedule work completion including but not limited to work schedule
• Recognize, identify and offer solutions to potential safety/emergency issues
• Read and understand schematics, diagrams and graphic interpretations
• Perform basic routine preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment
• Clearly and professionally communicate to district faculty and staff
• Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area
• Safely and skillfully operate power tools, hand tools and tools of the trade in the proper manner they were designed
• Paint, light repair, general maintenance
• Performs any other tasks as required by the Supervisor.

Term of Employment: Salary and work year established by the Board.
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's
policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
