We are urgently looking for a Dev Ops engineer for Standard bank. The person will be expected to work on a hybrid bases going in 2x a week to the Rosebank office in JHB ( sometimes Simmonds street but not often) BUT the client is moving towards full time back in office at some point so I just want to be fully transparent about this upfront. The person will be expected to work on a hybrid bases going in 2x a week to the Rosebank office in JHB ( sometimes Simmonds street but not often) BUT the client is moving towards full time back in office at some point so I just want to be fully transparent about this upfront.

The rate is between R 90 k – R 100k.

Experience
Hands on work experience in a hybrid (AWS) cloud environment preferably in the financial sector with PCI-DSS compliant systems. Implementing CI/CD pipeline automation across functional areas AWS workload automation (provisioning infrastructure and custom software configuration rollout) Implementing Observability for hybrid cloud-based environments Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols Troubleshooting low latency & Java based applications in a SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) context Familiarity/applying Platform Engineering principles and practices
Understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework and practices
