Hybrid Engineering Manager: Lead AI-Driven Teams

Eidosmedia S.p.A. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead one of our development teams, driving technical excellence, growth, and continual improvement of engineering practices.

Reporting to the CTO, you will guide engineers, ensure high‑quality software delivery, and foster a collaborative environment to help engineers thrive. Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, supporting growth and collaboration. Drive technical decisions and define the technical direction of projects. Plan and oversee engineering activities aligned with business goals. Promote code quality, best practices, and consistent development methodologies. Ensure adoption of code quality, performance, testing and maintainability practices. Review and improve engineering processes to increase efficiency and product quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the lifecycle. Support junior developers' growth and knowledge sharing. Contribute to recruitment through technical interviews and candidate evaluation. Stay updated with technology trends and evaluate new tools and approaches. Proven experience in software development and leading software teams. Strong object‑oriented programming, architecture, design patterns, algorithms and testing practices. Hands‑on C++ development in performance‑sensitive environments.
