[Hybrid] Lead / Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack Typescript)

Your new role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. Beyond writing production-grade code, you will contribute to helping researchers discover new treatment methods by providing the software they need.

Job Responsibilities

• Apply lean engineering principles by building simple, maintainable, and scalable solutions
• Design and develop new features of an open source software platform.
• Explore modern technologies like Supabase, React micro-frontends, Jupyter Kernels and AI integrations.
• Collaborate with a high-performing cross-functional team – engage with UX, product and engineering stakeholders.
• Integrate and extend the platform using open-source frameworks.
• Contribute to a product that directly impacts the research community by enabling meaningful, data-driven outcomes.

Job Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or haveequivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrate experience in full-stack development(TypeScript knowledge is a plus).
• Bring a strong understanding of modern web frameworks(React/Vue) and back-end development.
• Possess familiarity with Docker, npm, relationaldatabases, and SQL.
• Strong appreciation for lean and pragmatic software engineering practice
