Hydro Repairperson

You will serve as a Hydro Repairperson for Bureau of Reclamation. Make a difference in the West by assisting in meeting increasing water demands while protecting the environment. Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Performs inspection, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and structures associated with Leadville Mine Drainage Water Treatment Plant and related facilities Cleans, lubricates, and checks the mechanical operation of the turbines, governors, and auxiliary equipment, including air compressors, water pumps, ventilating fans, oil pumps, and other powerplant equipment. Assists other journeyman crafts with maintenance and performing switching and clearance procedures associated with Leadville Mine Drainage Water Treatment Plant and related facilities. Performs routine inspections of the mechanical and electrical equipment and reports unsatisfactory operation and unusual operating conditions or data to treatment plant supervisor. Performs non-specialized work in different trade occupations such as carpentry, pest control, rough concrete, minor plumbing, rough welding, or painting.

You must be at least 18 years of age or older to operate government vehicles.
