Responsibilities
- Planning and preparation of global survey projects
- Mobilisation and calibration of survey vessels
- Acquisition of hydrographic and geophysical data using a variety of survey equipment
- Survey data processing and production of deliverables
- Report writing and interpretation of results
- Development of survey departments processes and procedures.
- Creation of Project Execution Plans to encompass the contracted specifications
- Production of line plans for project planning and subsequent data acquisition.
- Understands and enforces company's safety, environment and quality policies.
- Reviews and updates Method Statements and Procedures as required.
- Assists senior personnel with vessel mobilisations (positioning systems, multibeam systems and USBL systems).
- Data processing of bathymetry and navigation data.
- Proficient at writing various survey reports (including Mobilisation, Operations, Results).
- Able to work to schedules and meet deadlines.
