Derrycourt Cleaning Specialist has an exciting opportunity for the role of Hygiene Services & Compliance Manager with a food manufacturer in North Co Dublin.

Role: Site Manager (Cleaning, Hygiene & Compliance)

Shift Times: 6:00am - 2:30pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm (flexibility required)

Derrycourt Cleaning Specialists is recruiting a Site Manager for a busy Food Packaging & Distribution facility in North Dublin.

This role involves leading a team of approximately 25 staff, including Supervisors and Cleaning Operatives, while ensuring high standards of cleaning, hygiene, food safety, and compliance across the site. You will work closely with the client’s operations and compliance teams, support audits, drive continuous improvement, and ensure all cleaning and regulatory standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support a team of 25+ employees.
• Deliver high-quality cleaning and hygiene services in line with agreed standards.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Monitor training and support staff development.
• Manage schedules, staffing levels, and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, health & safety, and quality standards.
• Lead and support internal, client, and external audits.
• Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement plans.
• Maintain cleaning documentation, SOPs, risk assessments, and safety records.
• Attend client meetings and ensure actions are completed on time.
• Drive operational efficiencies and improve systems and procedures.

About You

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a management role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Experience in hygiene, cleaning, food production, or compliance environments.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Understanding of BRC audits is desirable.
• Commercially aware with experience managing budgets.
• Proactive, hands-on, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
