Hygiene - Team Member Ops Support
Finsbury Food Group Hygiene - Team Member Ops Support
This is what you’ll actually do!
As a Hygiene Operator, you’ll carry out cleaning and sanitisation of production machinery, equipment and manufacturing areas, helping to ensure everything is cleaned to the required food safety, quality and hygiene standards.
You’ll use a range of industrial cleaning equipment, including jet washers, foaming systems and cleaning tools, as well as safely handling cleaning chemicals in line with COSHH requirements and our site procedures.
You’ll follow cleaning schedules, Hygiene Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and CIC Cards, completing your tasks within the required timescales so that production can operate safely and efficiently.
Some cleaning activities will involve dismantling and reassembling production equipment to make sure all areas can be properly accessed and cleaned. You’ll also carry out pre-
operational checks and report any hygiene, maintenance, quality or safety issues you identify.
You’ll keep accurate hygiene records and documentation and help maintain excellent housekeeping standards across the site. You may also support internal, customer and third-party audits by helping to demonstrate the high standards we work to.
