Pay Range: $46.25 - $55.2 Hourly, depending upon years of experience

Job Summary:

Under the direction of physicians and guidance from the Director of Wound Care Center and department supervisors, performs diagnostic, therapeutic and emergency functions for adolescent to geriatric aged patients treated in Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Operates and maintain the hyperbaric chamber and associated systems and equipment.
  • Assists in the delivery of patient care appropriate to the level of his/her medical training
  • Performs personal care/interventions as delegated by the Hyperbaric Supervisor or physician according to policy, procedure, unit routine and patient need
  • Documents transport on ProTouch per specific patient orders.
  • Reports changes in patient's behavior to appropriate hospital staff

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency
  • 3 years experience as a Hyperbaric Chamber Operation Technician
  • UHMS 40 hour course Certified Hyperbaric Technologist
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
