I.T. Helpdesk Assistant
Summary
Runs the IT help desk for a drugstore chain: maintains IT inventory, monitors branch servers/RAID and CCTV system health, coordinates internet outages with DSL providers, and assists end-users with computer problems. Core tech: Windows OS and hardware troubleshooting/support.
Key Responsibility
Administers the IT Help Desk and maintains inventory of IT resource. Performs duties related to pre-acquisition of IT resource. Monitors and reports health of branch's RAID and server HDD. Monitors and reports health of branch CCTV surveillance system. Monitors and reports hardware preventive maintenance accomplishments and branch disc storage. Participates in software quality assurance process and purges peripheral data files. Report to and coordinates with DSL service providers regarding non-service/Internet connection outage. Provides end-users with assistance in solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program errors.
Qualifications
Graduate of BS Computer Science or any I.T. related course
At least one year experience in I.T. troubleshooting and support
Knowledgeable in Windows operating system.
Ability to communicate technical guidance and instruction to end-users.
Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
