IAM Access Review Specialist
Summary
Supports Henry Ford Health's Identity & Access Management team by executing User Access Review campaigns, auditing access controls, and maintaining documentation and metrics to ensure compliance with least privilege and separation of duties. Works with tools like SailPoint, ServiceNow, Visio, and PeopleSoft alongside IT, security, and compliance teams.
The IAM Access Review Specialist is responsible for analyzing and translating business requirements, facilitating the processing and creation of our User Access Review program, and ensuring compliance with separation of duties and the principle of least privilege. This role supports all aspects of access reviews for the Identity & Access Management team. This role is also responsible for developing, refining, and maintaining documentation and metrics. The IAM Access Review Specialist will partner with the vendor, applications, and compliance teams to define processes, approach, and documentation necessary to conduct user access reviews and manager certification. Additionally, this role works collaboratively with IT, Information Privacy and Security Office (IPSO) and all system leadership, to ensure system access complies with policies, applicable laws, and regulations.
The IAM Access Review Specialist reports to the IAM Supervisor. This role will be responsible for supporting audit and compliance requirements as they relate to identity and access management, executing User Access Review campaigns, reporting, auditing of access control validations, Entitlement System & Human Accounts Management, and reporting Access Lifecycle Management metrics to support the mission and goals of Henry Ford Health Identity Management strategy. Additionally, this role works closely with Cyber Governance Risk and Compliance (CGRC) to ensure that all areas of compliance are met.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree in information systems, computer science or a related field. In lieu of degree, candidate must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in Identity Management with a focus on entitlement analysis.
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience in a professional business environment, required.
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience in an identity management related field, required.
- In depth experience with process flows, metrics, and data analysis to illustrate business impact.
- Proficient with process modeling software such as Visio.
- Experience in running statistical analysis and creating visualization reports.
- Proven ability to communicate professionally and effectively in written or oral format.
- General understanding of application services and their entitlement models, integration with IAM systems for access review automation (SailPoint or Courion/Core Security preferred).
- Proficiency with request management and ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred) and HR systems (PeopleSoft preferred).
