About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IAM Engineer with strong expertise in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and hands-on development experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ.

The role focuses on application onboarding, identity lifecycle management, access governance, SailPoint development, automation, and integration. The successful candidate will work closely with application stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to deliver secure and standardized IAM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding of business applications into the IAM platform.
  • Gather, validate, and implement functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Configure SailPoint application integrations using established IAM standards.
  • Design and develop SailPoint workflows, rules, policies, and forms.
  • Implement and maintain access control and entitlement management solutions.
  • Support identity certification and access enforcement processes.
  • Apply standardized application onboarding patterns and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive standardization and automation across IAM processes.
  • Collaborate with the SailPoint platform team on CI/CD automation and deployment pipelines.
  • Align implementations with IAM architecture, security policies, and organizational standards.
  • Participate in Scrum and SAFe activities.
  • Coordinate implementation and validate delivered functionality against requirements.
  • Work closely with application owners and other stakeholders throughout the onboarding lifecycle.
  • Support Identity Lifecycle Management processes, including Joiner, Mover, and Leaver activities.

Must-Have Skills

  • Minimum 7 years of professional IAM experience.
  • Strong Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) experience.
  • Hands-on development experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ.
  • Strong SailPoint application onboarding experience.
  • Experience designing and developing complex workflows, rules, policies, and forms.
  • Experience implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Experience with Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC).
  • Knowledge of Policy-Based Access Control (PBAC) is advantageous.
  • Experience with identity certification and enforcement processes.
  • Strong understanding of Identity Lifecycle Management.
  • Strong CI/CD and automation experience.
  • Experience working with DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience working in Agile environments; SAFe experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of security technologies, best practices, and security policy frameworks.
  • Knowledge of entitlement and authorization management.
  • Strong consultancy, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Skills

  • Open Policy Agent (OPA).
  • OPAL or similar policy-engine technologies.
  • Java, Beanshell, or JavaScript.
  • SailPoint integrations with LDAP, REST/SOAP, SCIM, databases, and SaaS applications.
  • Experience integrating with Okta, Workday, or SAP.
  • CI/CD pipelines.
  • Microsoft Azure.
  • Linux.
  • Experience creating standardized application onboarding patterns.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a technically strong SailPoint professional who can combine hands-on IdentityIQ development, IAM governance, application onboarding, and automation with strong stakeholder management skills.

They should be capable of taking ownership of application onboarding from initial requirements through implementation, testing, and acceptance while continuously improving IAM processes and standards.
