IAM Full Stack Developer

About the Role

Royal Caribbean Group is seeking an IAM Full Stack Developer to help design, build, and support solutions that strengthen Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities across the organization.

In this role, you will develop and enhance IAM applications, automated workflows, integrations, and self-service experiences using ServiceNow and modern full stack technologies. You will work closely with IAM engineers, cybersecurity teams, application owners, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly identity solutions.

Key Responsibilities

IAM Application Development

• Design, develop, and support identity and access management applications, workflows, and integrations.

• Build solutions that automate user lifecycle processes, including provisioning, deprovisioning, access requests, approvals, and role management.

• Collaborate with IAM engineers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Support ongoing enhancements to IAM platforms, tools, and governance processes.

ServiceNow Development

• Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, portals, and integrations.

• Develop and maintain Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Actions, Flow Designer processes, and Service Portal components.

• Create automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and user experience.

• Support platform upgrades, enhancements, and issue resolution.

Full Stack Development

• Build and maintain modern web applications using Vue.js and contemporary backend technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Python, Flask, or Groovy.

• Develop secure and scalable APIs and integration services.

• Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces that support IAM and enterprise business processes.

• Implement state management, reusable components, and modern frontend development practices.

Integration & Automation

• Design and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs to integrate IAM, ServiceNow, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.

• Develop automation and orchestration capabilities across identity platforms and connected systems.

• Support data mapping, synchronization, and connector integrations between applications.

Quality, Security & Support

• Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues, and integration failures across the full technology stack.

• Write and maintain automated unit tests to ensure solution quality and reliability.

• Apply secure coding practices and industry-standard design principles.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Maintain technical documentation, process diagrams, and implementation guides.

Agile Delivery

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

• Create and maintain Jira stories, technical tasks, and documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• 2-4 years of professional software development experience.

• Experience developing web applications using modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or React.

• Experience developing backend services using Java (Spring Boot), Python (Flask), Groovy, or similar technologies.

• Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and REST APIs.

• Experience using Git version control and standard development workflows.

• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred

• Experience developing within the ServiceNow platform.

• Knowledge of Service Portal, Flow Designer, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow integrations.

• Exposure to Identity and Access Management concepts, including:

  • Access provisioning and deprovisioning

  • Role-based access control (RBAC)

  • Single Sign-On (SSO)

  • Identity governance

  • Directory services and connectors

• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, or other NoSQL databases.

• Exposure to cloud platforms and enterprise integrations.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and container technologies such as Docker.

• Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools to improve code quality, productivity, and documentation.

Preferred Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

• Identity and Access Management certifications

• Cloud platform certifications (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
