IAM Project Manager – Identity Governance & SAP SoD (CISO Programs)

Role Description

The IAM Senior Project Manager, working within the CISO’s Identity and Access Management (IAM) organization, is responsible for leading complex and transformational initiatives from initiation through successful delivery. This role ensures that all project outcomes align with organizational objectives, industry best practices, compliance requirements, and operational efficiency goals.

The ideal candidate brings strong Project Management expertise within the IAM domain, including solid knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SoD) in SAP environments. They are skilled at presenting complex technical and business topics in a clear and compelling manner to secure alignment, approvals, and strategic direction from stakeholders.

The IAM Senior Project Manager is accountable for all facets of project execution—scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality—as well as leadership competencies such as stakeholder management, communication planning, organizational change management, and operational readiness.

This role may include both Project and Program management responsibilities and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines.

Role / Responsibilities

· Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies

· Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business strategy

· Manage and maintain RAID logs (Risks, Issues, Decisions, Dependencies)

· Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress

· Oversee multiple IAM projects and manage interdependencies

· Manage budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accuracy

· Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and teams

· Communicate effectively with executives, sponsors, and technical teams

· Facilitate decision-making and resolve cross-team conflicts

· Prepare status reports for senior leadership and governance forums

· Ensure adherence to organizational standards, methodologies, and regulatory requirements

· Identify process optimization opportunities and implement best practices

· Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and delivery excellence

Specialties / Technologies

· Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts

· Reasonable knowledge of SAP systems

· Strong expertise in Segregation of Duties (SoD) within SAP environments

· Experience working in CISO / security governance environments

· Azure DevOps (ADO) exposure is a plus
