Your day at NTT DATA
The IAM Security Consultant is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for providing technical support to clients.

This role is able to compile technical specifications in a clear, concise, unambiguous manner to explain the advantages and disadvantages of options leading to the final solution and are able to create alternative solutions as backup planning.

This role works towards professional to expert level certification, whilst at the same time developing business knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

CyberArk Administration & Support

  • Manage and support the CyberArk PAM platform, including Vault, CPM, PSM, PVWA, and related components
  • Perform L2/L3 troubleshooting for CyberArk incidents, particularly for:
    • PSM session issues
    • CPM password management failures
  • Monitor platform health and ensure availability, performance, and compliance

Implementation & Configuration

  • Onboard accounts, configure platforms, safes, and policies within CyberArk
  • Implement, fine-tune password rotation policies and session management controls
  • Integrate CyberArk with target systems (Windows, Linux, databases, network devices, etc) for credential management and session monitoring

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to security policies, standards, and best practices for privileged access
  • Participate in audits and provide evidence of privileged access controls
  • Support hardening and secure configuration of CyberArk components

Incident & Problem Management

  • Investigate and resolve CyberArk-related incidents and service requests
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams for issue resolution

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain documentation including runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
  • Provide support for upgrades, patching, and DR testing
  • Automate routine CyberArk tasks with API scripting where feasible

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with CyberArk PAM solution
  • Proven troubleshooting expertise in:
    • PSM (Privileged Session Manager)
    • CPM (Central Policy Manager)
  • Good understanding of:
    • Privileged Access Management concepts
    • Windows/Linux administration
    • Active Directory and networking basics
  • Experience with account onboarding, safe management, and policy configuration
  • English: fluent (Mandatory)
  • Hungarian: fluent (Mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications

  • CyberArk Certified Delivery Engineer (CDE-PAM) certification (strong plus)
  • Experience with CyberArk integrations (SIEM, ticketing systems, cloud platforms)
  • Familiarity with scripting/automation (PowerShell, REST APIs)

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
