About the role We are looking for a Software Engineer to create secure and scalable automation services for Identity and Access Management (IAM) within a Whole-of-Government framework. This position emphasizes the development of backend services, APIs, automated testing features, and enterprise integrations with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Graph, and SailPoint, all aimed at enhancing identity lifecycle management, access governance, and operational workflows.

What you'll do
- Design and implement backend services and APIs for IAM automation.
- Develop automated testing capabilities to ensure service reliability and performance.
- Integrate enterprise solutions with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Graph, and SailPoint.
- Support identity lifecycle management and access governance initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, particularly in backend services.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
- Experience with IAM technologies and frameworks, especially Microsoft Entra ID and SailPoint.
- Strong understanding of API development and integration practices.
- Familiarity with automated testing methodologies and tools.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
- Familiarity with identity governance and administration concepts.
