About Weltrade
Weltrade is a leading international Fintech company with over two decades of stability and trust in the global FX and online trading industry. Established in 2006, we operate as a truly global, remote-first organization, bringing together high-performing professionals across multiple time zones.
We focus on building scalable trading infrastructure and high-impact commercial ecosystems that drive sustainable client acquisition worldwide. At Weltrade, we value ownership, autonomy, and measurable impact.
About your Role
In this role, you will join the Business Development Department, a commercially driven team dedicated to expanding Weltrade's global partner ecosystem. As our Middle IB Manager for the Malaysian market, your mission will be to identify, acquire, and grow high-value Introducing Broker (IB) partnerships while strengthening Weltrade's presence within the local Chinese-speaking business community. Your primary challenge will be building trusted commercial relationships, negotiating strategic partnerships, and accelerating partner acquisition in a competitive market through your language expertise and established professional network. Your work will directly contribute to Weltrade's regional growth strategy, expanding our partner footprint and driving sustainable revenue across the Malaysian market. We are looking for a self-sufficient business development specialist who thrives in an autonomous, high-impact environment and can confidently represent Weltrade in Chinese-language business interactions.
You Have
- Proven track record in partner acquisition, IB network development, and commercial relationship management within the Forex, CFD, FinTech, or financial services industry.
- Professional fluency in Chinese (Mandarin preferred) with the ability to independently conduct business negotiations, manage partner relationships, and communicate without language support.
- Demonstrated experience working with Chinese-speaking partners or clients in the Malaysian market and a strong understanding of local Chinese-speaking business culture and communication practices.
- Established professional network within Malaysia that enables efficient partner acquisition and long-term business development opportunities.
- Proven ability to achieve commercial KPIs through strategic negotiations, partner portfolio growth, and relationship management.
Good to Have
- Previous experience in the Forex, online trading, or broader FinTech industry.
- Existing portfolio of active Introducing Brokers (IBs), affiliates, or strategic partners within the Malaysian market.
- Experience working in a remote-first, international business development environment.
What We Offer
- Remote-First Flexibility: We operate fully remotely and offer a global and cross-functional environment.
- Ownership & Impact: A chance to own your ideas and make a measurable impact on Weltrade's global growth.
- Wellbeing: A balanced leave allowance (paid vacation, sick leave, public holidays, etc.) and a supportive culture that values every employee.
