We are seeking a skilled and experienced IBM DB2 Database Administrator to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in database management, optimization, and security to ensure the performance and reliability of our systems.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and maintain IBM DB2 databases for optimal performance
- Monitor database health and implement necessary upgrades or patches
- Ensure data integrity and security protocols are followed
- Collaborate with development teams to support application needs
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolutions
- Develop backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator with IBM DB2
- Strong knowledge of SQL scripting and database performance tuning
- Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Salary:Up to RM 10,000.
