IBM WebSphere Application Server Administrator

Position: IBM WebSphere Application Server Administrator
Experience: 5+ years preferred

Shifts: Night Shifts ( Remote )

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IBM WebSphere Administrator to support, maintain, and optimize enterprise middleware environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience administering IBM WebSphere Application Server, troubleshooting application issues, and ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) environments.
• Deploy and troubleshoot enterprise Java/J2EE applications.
• Monitor application server performance, availability, and resource utilization.
• Troubleshoot application failures, JVM issues, memory leaks, thread dumps, and connectivity problems.
• Perform patching, upgrades, configuration changes, and environment maintenance.
• Support SSL/TLS certificates, security configurations, and application connectivity.
• Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, database, and operations teams.
• Participate in production support, incident resolution,and root cause analysis.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (Traditional WAS).
• Experience with WebSphere Network Deployment, clusters, nodes, and deployment managers.
• Solid understanding of Java/J2EE applications and JVM troubleshooting.
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of SSL/TLS, HTTP servers, load balancing, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience supporting high-availability, production enterprise environments.
