Summary
On-site QA/testing role in Chantilly, VA supporting an intelligence-community program: the tester develops repeatable test procedures, executes test plans/scripts, documents results, and coordinates integration testing within an Agile team. Requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph plus GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence experience.

Position Description
Develops and implements quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures in a large computer-based organization. Develops and executes software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. Establishes and maintains a process for evaluating hardware, software, and associated documentation and/or assists in the evaluation. Conducts and/or participates in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle.
- Experience developing repeatable test procedures, executing test scripts and documenting results.
- Must be comfortable working with software developers to identify and resolve defects.
- Ensure new applications and software modifications meet requirements and operate satisfactorily in the system environment
- Documented experience meeting with stakeholders, analyzing requirements, user stories and related artifacts, and translating these into test plans and well-defined acceptance criteria
- Development and presentation of technical documentation, test cases, test reports, test data sets and other briefing materials to support program status reviews, control gates, and other presentations as directed.
- Participating in the team’s Agile software development process and adhering to all reporting requirements.
- Working with other enterprise service programs and other test teams to coordinate integration testing of their capabilities that will be consumed in the final system implementation.
- Experience documenting the successes and failures of all executed test procedures in Sponsor's issue tracking software
Required Technical Skills:
- Documented experience working with GitHub, JIRA and Confluence.
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated on-the-job experience testing web-based applications developed using technologies such as: Java or J2EE
- Demonstrated on-the-job test automation or software development experience with at least two automated test tool (Selenium web driver preferred, similar tools accepted).
