Duties: Under the direction of the Assistant Manager of Operations – Owens Center, the Ice Rink Support is responsible for the following:

This position encompasses a wide range of duties which may include, but are not limited to:
- On-Ice Instruction for Group Classes
- On-Ice Referee
- Facility Supervision
- Ice Maintenance
- Operation of Ice Re-Surfacer
- Patron Services
- General Daily Upkeep of the Facility.
Ensuring a safe and pleasant atmosphere.
Presenting a positive, enthusiastic image of the Peoria Park District, Owens Ice Center, and its recreation programs.
Harmoniously dealing with the public enthusiastically and cooperatively.
Following all safety procedures that pertain to the duties performed; supporting all aspects of the Park District’s safety procedures.
Performing all other duties as required.

Essential Functions: Must be able to be on your feet for multiple consecutive hours, run, jump, and lift up to 45 pounds.
