Job Description

Summary/Objective

The Restaurant Security is responsible for ensuring guests are safe when they are within the bar premises. Restaurant security will also enforce the NJ ABC regulations of the establishment.

1. Ensure guests are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages. Refuse to serve beverages in a polite manner to guests who are not of legal age.

1. Work at a stationary environment and/or circulate through the guests.

1. Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.

1. All guests must be treated in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed guests’ expectations.

1. Performs other duties as directed.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in and around the premises and may be working in close proximity to team members. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Hazards may include, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping and tripping. This position operates in an outdoor and indoor setting.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching. The position may require occasional lifting of products weighing up to 75 pounds. This position may require employee to work outside in all inclement conditions.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. This role requires forty, plus hours to include, nights weekends and holidays.
