ICT Project Manager
Summary
The ICT Project Manager will oversee enterprise system implementations, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with government ICT policies and security standards. The role focuses on project tracking, process improvement, and workflow automation within an ICT environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute tasks aligned to the approved workplan and deliver assigned initiatives, including tracking, managing, and escalating issues, risks, and dependencies across workstreams.
- Work closely with OPL team and System Owners on contract renewal and technology refresh initiatives, including:
- Supporting solution option analysis; and
- Coordinating stakeholders and vendors.
- Support, standardise, and improve audit, exit audit, and annual self-assessment activities across OPL systems, including opportunities for workflow automation.
- Co-lead process improvement and automation. For example:
- Process optimisation in license management for applications;
- Standardise and improve application hardening, third party audit, exit audit and annual self-assessment; and
- Workflow automation to support reviews such as application logs, user access and matrix, password management.
- Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks to ensure compliance with Government ICT policies, security standards, and risk management requirements.
- Foster strong partnerships with operational and planning stakeholders to support smooth system implementations and drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with client’s digital strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering or engineering degree.
- At least 6 years of ICT experience with demonstrated local project delivery success, with minimally 3 years proven local track record in enterprise system implementation and vendor coordination.
- Strong follow-through and discipline in tracking issues and actions across multiple workstreams.
- Familiarity with governance and compliance in ICT environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and presentation slides.
Preferred Skillsets/Experiences
- Working knowledge of Cloud environment and process optimisation.
- Local working experience in minimally 1 cloud-hosted project and an IT audit.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Professional certifications such as CITPM, PMP, or Agile certifications.
