ICT Project Manager

ICT Project Manager (Structured Cabling) Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who employ over 2,000 and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centres, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently looking for an ICT Project Manager to join them on a Data Centre project in Helsinki. You Will Be Responsible For: • Take full responsibility for understanding, managing, and delivering client expectations and technical specifications for Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling projects, ensuring full compliance with contractual and project requirements. • Manage all day-to-day site operations, ensuring safe, efficient delivery while maintaining strict control of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards. • Lead and manage the project programme, driving progress on site, identifying risks or delays, and implementing corrective actions to maintain schedule performance. • Oversee all project costs, including labour, materials, procurement, plant, equipment, variations, and valuations, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial control. • Manage subcontractor performance, including coordination, tracking progress against programme, monitoring staffing levels, and ensuring delivery aligns with project requirements. • Act as a key point of contact at site meetings, liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams to provide clear reporting, progress updates, and issue resolution. • Develop, implement, and enforce company procedures with the project team, ensuring consistent standards and continuous improvement across all site activities. • Manage change control effectively, ensuring all variations and programme impacts are correctly identified, assessed, and administered in line with commercial procedures. • Oversee project close-out activities, ensuring timely completion and sign-off of all deliverables including Final Accounts, O&M Manuals, Punch Lists, Safety File, QA File, and all handover documentation, with full support from the project team. • Ensure all project logistics are managed effectively, including material and plant tracking, relocations, and site setup requirements throughout the project lifecycle. • Take responsibility for the full lifecycle delivery of the ICT/telecommunications project, ensuring successful completion in line with client expectations, quality standards, and business objectives.

You Will Need: • Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar position. • Extensive experience of Telecommunications Infrastructure Cabling • Good Computer skills - Windows, MS Office • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well within a team. • Excellent communication skills • An EU passport may not be required but is desirable.
