ICT Quality Assurance Tester

Summary

The ICT Quality Assurance Tester will define QA strategies, lead end-to-end testing efforts, and develop automation frameworks for enterprise and government systems. The role involves managing defect lifecycles, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines, and mentoring QA teams within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement comprehensive QA strategies, standards, and governance frameworks for ICT systems.
  • Lead end-to-end testing efforts including functional, integration, system, regression, API, and performance testing.
  • Design and develop automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and Robot Framework.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, and Docker.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.
  • Manage defect lifecycle, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and government standards for ICT systems.
  • Establish and monitor quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting dashboards.
  • Lead and mentor QA teams, promoting best practices in Agile and Scrum environments.
  • Support UAT, SIT, and production releases, ensuring system stability and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (MCA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership or specialist role.
  • Strong experience in ICT systems, enterprise applications, or government platforms.
  • Proven ability to design scalable automation frameworks and drive test automation adoption.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with distributed teams.
