ICT Security Specialists (Senior & Lead) - TSPV Highly Desirable

About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced ICT Security Specialist to support a high-profile, mission-critical program delivering secure and resilient systems.
This opportunity can be aligned to either senior or lead-level experience, covering complex security challenges across risk, assurance, security operations, architecture and policy development within a highly secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and lead security risk assessments, business impact analysis, assurance and accreditation activities.
- Provide technical and strategic advice on security controls, risks, vulnerabilities, system capabilities, policy and architecture.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches.
- Support security operations and ensure compliance across systems and processes.
- Develop and implement security policies, standards, procedures and frameworks.
- Communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify systemic risks and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
- Where required, manage priorities and workflows, guide delivery and mentor junior team members.
- Strong ICT security experience across areas such as security architecture, risk, assurance and operations.
- Sound knowledge of the Essential Eight, Information Security Manual and Protective Security Policy Framework.
- Demonstrated ability to assess and secure complex information systems.
- Experience supporting incident response, information assurance, accreditation and security compliance activities.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder engagement and decision-making skills.
- Leadership experience across security strategy, policy, assurance or team delivery will be highly regarded.
- IRAP Assessor certification or significant security accreditation experience will be highly regarded.
- A current Top Secret Positive Vetting clearance is highly desirable.
- Candidates with strong relevant experience and eligibility to obtain the required clearance may also be considered.
- Additional organisational suitability assessments may be required as part of the onboarding process.
