About Your New Company

Complex Travel Group is in its 17th year of trading as an online travel agency. We operate a number of niche brands selling premium airfares, tours, cruises and reward travel, including RoundAbout Travel, Flat Beds, QFlyer, Flat Beds Tour + Cruise, Y Premium and The Well Connected Traveller.

We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and are one of Australia’s leading independent travel agencies.

We are seeking a motivated ICT Support Coordinator to work closely with our IT Manager and support the systems, networks, websites, applications and day-to-day technology needs of the business.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, helping people and learning new skills. Recent graduates and candidates starting their IT careers are encouraged to apply. We value curiosity, reliability and a willingness to learn, along with a desire to grow with the business over the long term.

The Opportunity

As our ICT Support Coordinator, you will provide day-to-day technical support to staff and assist the IT Manager with maintaining and improving our technology.

You will help keep our business systems reliable, secure and efficient, while gaining practical experience across a broad range of IT platforms and projects.

The role is approximately 80% IT set-up and support, with around 20% general office support, which may include assisting with marketing, administration, reporting and other operational tasks.

You will receive guidance from the IT Manager and work alongside our IT team, building your skills and taking on more responsibility as your confidence grows.

Key responsibilities:

  • IT Set-up and Support

    • Provide friendly and responsive IT support to staff via phone, email and in person

    • Assist with setting up computers, user accounts, software and other equipment

    • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and application issues, escalating more complex problems when needed

    • Support operating systems, SaaS platforms, websites, internal applications and our RingCentral cloud phone system

    • Assist with staff onboarding and offboarding, including equipment and account access

    • Help monitor system health, updates, backups and security alerts

    • Keep clear records of support requests, troubleshooting steps and resolutions

    • Provide practical guidance to staff on using software and business systems

    • Help identify opportunities to improve IT processes, workflows and automation

  • Websites, Systems and Applications

    • Assist with website testing, troubleshooting and basic content or technical updates

    • Support website functionality checks across our different brands

    • Help identify bugs, system errors or integration issues

    • Work with internal stakeholders and external providers where required

    • Support improvements to SaaS platforms, business tools and internal applications

  • General Office Support

    • Assist the marketing team with content management and deployment of online marketing activities where required

    • Assist the admin team with admin-related tasks where required

    • Support reporting and internal documentation when needed

    • Keep up to date with the latest IT technologies, tools and trends

    • Complete ad hoc tasks as directed by the Managing Director, CEO or IT Manager

About You

You are practical, approachable and interested in how technology works. You enjoy helping people, take pride in following through on tasks and are comfortable asking questions when you need guidance.

Previous professional IT support experience is welcome but is not essential. Your experience may come from study, internships, personal projects, volunteering or helping others with technical problems.

We are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career with us and is willing to invest time in learning our systems and understanding the business.

Ideally, you will bring:

  • Foundational knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems and common business software

  • A basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP

  • An interest in websites, applications and business systems

  • A methodical approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to document your work

  • Good organisation, time management and prioritisation skills

  • The ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate with others

  • A helpful, patient and customer-focused attitude

  • A willingness to learn, accept feedback and follow issues through to resolution

A Certificate IV, diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field would be beneficial. We also welcome applicants who can demonstrate relevant practical skills and self-directed learning.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience using AI tools or AI-assisted workflows for learning, troubleshooting, productivity or automation, with care taken to check results and protect business information

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS or JavaScript

  • Exposure to SaaS platforms, CRM systems or other business applications

  • Experience with website testing, content management systems or hosting platforms

  • An interest in automation and process improvement

  • Previous customer service experience

  • Experience in travel, e-commerce or an online business environment

You must be Adelaide-based and comfortable working primarily from our office. We value people who are reliable, proactive, positive under pressure and keen to contribute to a social, fast-paced team environment.

Cultural fit is as important for you as it is for us.

Australian Working Rights

Applicants must have valid Australian working rights that allow them to undertake full-time employment.

We welcome applications from Australian citizens, permanent residents and visa holders with sufficient remaining work rights to support an ongoing role. We are looking for someone who can grow with the business over the long term.

Please clearly detail your Australian working rights in your application. If you hold a visa, please include:

  • Your current visa type and subclass

  • Your visa expiry date or current period of stay

  • Any work restrictions, including limits on hours or employment with one employer

  • Whether you require employer sponsorship now or in the future

Australian citizens and permanent residents can simply state their status.

To summarise … why join us?

You will get access to …

  • A salary of $62,000 – $72,000 plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience

  • A back-office bonus, currently approximately $300-400 per month

  • Monday to Friday working hours

  • A supportive IT team with opportunities to learn and develop

  • Practical experience across IT support, systems, websites, applications and business operations

  • Exposure to a growing online travel business with multiple brands

  • A fun, casual working environment

  • Friday drinks, social get-togethers and plenty of office banter

We are a Monday to Friday business, so your nights and weekends are generally your own, apart from the rare urgent system or website issue.

Based at 99 Gawler Place, Adelaide, you will enjoy a convenient CBD office location and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the business.

Only Adelaide-based applications will be considered.

Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining:

  • Why you are interested in this role and what you would like to learn

  • Why you are looking for a long-term opportunity with Complex Travel Group
