IFS Integration Consultant

Role description

We are looking for a hands-on technical problem-solver who understands how enterprise software powers heavy physical operations. As an IFS Integration Consultant, you will sit at the intersection of core enterprise architecture and real-world operations. You will play an important role in delivering and supporting IFS Cloud and IFS Applications implementations for high-stakes environments in the Energy, Utilities, and Oil & Gas sectors.

What you'll do

  • Architect, execute, and validate complex ETL pipelines, master data strategies, and cutover plans to migrate legacy enterprise data into IFS smoothly.

  • Design, develop, and test robust API-driven integrations, middleware connections, and custom interfaces bridging IFS with third-party software and legacy systems (using .NET, SQL/PL-SQL, and Java).

  • Partner closely with functional teams to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize workflows across Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Field Service Management (FSM), and core ERP modules.

  • Configure data models, reporting tools, and analytics - laying the foundation for advanced use cases like predictive maintenance and asset performance tracking.

  • Act as a Tier 3/SME escalation point for complex technical issues, environment configurations, and post-go-live support requests.

What we're looking for

  • Proven track record implementing, configuring, or supporting IFS Cloud or IFS Applications (v9/v10).

  • Strong hands-on experience with ETL processes, data mapping, data modeling, and cutover execution for complex enterprise platforms.

  • Proficiency in SQL / PL-SQL for database-level querying, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

  • Experience with .NET development and REST/SOAP API integrations.

  • Familiarity with Java for handling legacy extensions or complex integration frameworks.
