IFS Integration Consultant
Role description
We are looking for a hands-on technical problem-solver who understands how enterprise software powers heavy physical operations. As an IFS Integration Consultant, you will sit at the intersection of core enterprise architecture and real-world operations. You will play an important role in delivering and supporting IFS Cloud and IFS Applications implementations for high-stakes environments in the Energy, Utilities, and Oil & Gas sectors.
What you'll do
Architect, execute, and validate complex ETL pipelines, master data strategies, and cutover plans to migrate legacy enterprise data into IFS smoothly.
Design, develop, and test robust API-driven integrations, middleware connections, and custom interfaces bridging IFS with third-party software and legacy systems (using .NET, SQL/PL-SQL, and Java).
Partner closely with functional teams to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize workflows across Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Field Service Management (FSM), and core ERP modules.
Configure data models, reporting tools, and analytics - laying the foundation for advanced use cases like predictive maintenance and asset performance tracking.
Act as a Tier 3/SME escalation point for complex technical issues, environment configurations, and post-go-live support requests.
What we're looking for
Proven track record implementing, configuring, or supporting IFS Cloud or IFS Applications (v9/v10).
Strong hands-on experience with ETL processes, data mapping, data modeling, and cutover execution for complex enterprise platforms.
Proficiency in SQL / PL-SQL for database-level querying, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Experience with .NET development and REST/SOAP API integrations.
Familiarity with Java for handling legacy extensions or complex integration frameworks.
