IFS Procurement Consultant
Summary:
The IFS Procurement Consultant will play a critical role in supporting the implementation and optimization of IFS procurement solutions within a dynamic team environment, ensuring effective procurement processes align with business needs.
Responsibilities:
Analyze procurement and purchasing requirements and translate them into functional solutions within IFS Applications or IFS Cloud.
Configure and implement IFS procurement modules such as purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier management, and purchasing workflows.
Support the end-to-end procurement lifecycle from requisition to invoice matching.
Manage supplier records, agreements, approval workflows, pricing structures, and procurement policies.
Facilitate integration between procurement, inventory, warehouse management, finance, and other ERP modules.
Conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and document processes.
Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams on enhancements.
Support data migration and supplier data cleansing activities.
Develop test scenarios and assist in testing, ensuring systems function as required.
Prepare user documentation and deliver training to procurement teams and users.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and business requirements.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as an IFS Procurement Consultant or similar role.
Hands-on experience with IFS Applications or IFS Cloud.
Strong understanding of procurement processes.
Experience with configuration and implementation of procurement workflows.
Knowledge of ERP integration across departments.
Experience in requirements gathering and process mapping.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
IFS Procurement certification or relevant certifications.
Experience with IFS Cloud implementation.
Exposure to ERP transformations or full-cycle implementations.
Previous experience in the UAE or GCC region.
Familiarity with supplier onboarding and procurement governance.
